Job Description and Details
Responsible for joining, fabricating, and gathering metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques.
WELDS and ASSEMBLES components using electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment.
FABRICATES and REPAIRS worn/damaged vital components on the Plant including all components involved in hot mix processing equipment.
CUTS work pieces, using power saws, hand shears and other methods.
REPORTS any faults or defects of equipment promptly to the Supervisor.
MONITORS welding equipment and materials usage.
MAINTAINS all the Plant components in good working condition.
ENSURES the environment is in compliance with all safety policies and procedures, ensuring the appropriate tools and equipment are used.
ADHERES to company policies and health and safety regulations.
